Our visit to the playground

In Floridsdorf in Tomaschekstraße you will find this beautiful playground hidden behind some residential buildings.
This playground is fenced in and huge! You will find numerous climbing and swinging options, a large water playground with lots of equipment, a sandpit and a ropeway.

The playground is only slightly shaded. A visit to the playground is therefore best in spring and fall, when you can enjoy every ray of sunshine.
The surface of the playground is partly sandy, but also grassy. There are several seating areas and two drinking fountains.

Our impressions of the Tomaschekstraße playground

We really like the playground because it offers so many possibilities. From toddlers to schoolchildren, everyone can find a suitable piece of equipment to let off steam here.
The playground is really big, so it gets lost even on busy days.
The water playground is particularly nice! There's lots of cranking and pushing to do here. The water flows into the sandpit, so you can continue playing right away!

Unfortunately, the playground is only slightly shaded. A real drawback! But we like to come here on warmer days when the sun isn't beating down too hard.
The playground is often used for children's birthday parties - understandably, as there is plenty on offer, the meadow is large and there are several seating areas.
Right next to the playground you will find public parking spaces and a large soccer pitch in the meadow.
Not far from the playground is the Danube Island.

Family friendliness

If you are looking for a playground in Floridsdorf, the Tomaschek playground is a great destination.
The playground offers a variety of play equipment and is therefore suitable for all ages. There are two drinking fountains, a water playground and some seating.
We like to come here in spring, when the dandelions and daisies are in bloom. Just great!
This excursion is free of charge.
